I am Barasha Das, an Independent Journalist from Assam, India. I specialize in story-telling about people and places ranging from humanitarian issues to the environment, history, and culture. My present work area includes narratives about climate change- its impact and action, environmental degradation, and the documentation of indigenous knowledge systems.

She has been nominated for the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) 2024. She will participate in a programme titled “Call to Climate Action: Building Public Awareness through Media Advocacy” in the United States.
